Do I need a Docusign account?
Yes, you need a Docusign account. If you don't have one, you can start a Free Trial directly from the app's account connection screen. We support both Production and Sandbox accounts.
What is "Send" vs "Create Draft"?
"Send" emails the envelope immediately. "Create Draft" generates the envelope but keeps it in draft status, allowing you to review and edit it in the Item View before sending.
Can anyone see the Sender View?
No. For security, only the user who triggered the creation of the draft can access the Docusign sender view URL within the monday.com Item View.
Is this integration secure?
Yes. We use Docusign's official OAuth 2.0 flow for authentication. You grant permission directly to Docusign, and we adhere to strict security standards.
How does it find the correct item?
We track envelopes by ID if sent via the app. For external envelopes, Admins can set up a "signer matches column" condition to find items by email.
Can I map signed data back?
Yes! Using recipe #9, you can map fields from the completed Docusign envelope back to specific columns in monday.com automatically.
